Back in July, I made
a monster for a swap. Owen instantly fell in love with it and requested one of his own. It was originally slated to be orange, but by the time I started knitting it last month, he decided it should be green (inspired by his new Mike Wazowski love, I'm sure). I used
a different pattern by the same designer, since the first little guy was quite small. It took forever, but he's finally done! Part of the problem was that O. kept swiping him to play with after each limb was sewn on. :) When he was complete, I handed him over, O. hugged him and said, "He's my best friend." And that is why I spend a month working on a silly project.

isn't fun to know that something so small [even if it took so long to make not sure I would have hade the patience] can make a childs day? how rewarding as a mother:] he looks thrilled with it

That is so cute Sarah. Have I mentioned that Owen is looking even more like his dad these days? I'm wondering how many more months you have until Elsie will be insisting that you make two of every silly little thing....
they look so adorable together :)
