Look at these faces!

Here's our latest addition to the family: Kitty Caterpillar, named by Owen. Granny found her in our backyard when she and Gramps were here helping us with our garage sale this weekend.

Owen, our computer genius

Okay, that's probably an exaggeration, but he still surprises me daily. He's been typing on the computer for months now and figured out how to open Word and change the font size without us telling him how -- I think he just watched us!

He is also very skilled in browsing the internet. He likes to look up Thomas toys on Amazon. He knows how to click on the item to get a bigger version and he knows how to click the back button and go back to the lists of toys. He'll spend quite some time on the site looking at pages and pages of toys. Some of his other favorite sites are homedepot.com to look up tools, and accuweather.com to look at the radar.

Then the other day he was in the car playing with the Hot Wheels "laptop" that his cousin Adam gave him.

Laptop: Player one, type your name and press the enter key.

Owen: Starts pressing keys

Laptop: O. W. E. N.

I was impressed that he followed directions, but he's known how to spell his name for a long time.

Laptop: Player two, type your name and press the enter key.

I'm thinking that he's just going to type his name again.

Owen: Starts pressing keys

Laptop: M. O. M.

Elsie is Five Months Old

Elsie is five months old already. She didn't a checkup so we don't know how big she is, but she is really growing fast!!

Owen wanted to stretch with Mom after she went running. Owen really enjoys working out. He will lift weights, run around and do crunches.

4th of July Fun

Owen, Elsie & I spent the 4th with my parents and my sister's family while Ray was golfing with one of his buddies from high school.

Yes, I realize this was 10 days ago. I'm a bit behind. ;)

Swap-o-rama!

Lately I've been into signing up for sewing swaps on a diaper board that I frequent (because I have soooo much free time - LOL). The latest one was for a dress or tee and a diaper.

I sent this -- after finally figuring out how to use the ruffler foot for my machine. which made all that gathering much easier!

And Elsie got this adorable jumper and a matching diaper. It's a little big, so it'll probably be perfect this fall . Can't you just see it over a tee with some orange and white striped tights? Now I just need to find some!
